Andrea develops and manages community outreach strategies for contentious land use issues and has extensive experience in conducting broad-based community participation programs that comply with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). She began her career mobilizing communities for the California Public Interest Research Group and Sierra Club, and working for Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich and United States Congresswoman Barbara Lee. Andrea is an active member of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce and Women’s Transportation Seminar and was recently elected to serve as President of the Los Angeles African American Women's Public Policy Institute (LAAAWPPI) Alumnae Association and as a member of the LAAAWPPI Board of Directors. She graduated in 2002 from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Management.
