
Ana brings her experience strategically integrating grassroots, media and digital outreach tactics to the agency’s public transportation and land use projects. She previously planned and implemented social marketing efforts for state and county-wide public health and education programs, with specific expertise in high touch and social media. Her background also includes work with clients in environmental education and technology, and she has volunteered professional services to multiple non-profit organizations. Ana has presented in the Environmental Communications divisions of both the National Communication Association and Western States Communication Association conferences, as well as the Conference on Communication and the Environment. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon and an Master of Arts degree in Communication from the Edward R. Murrow College at Washington State University.
