
Elisabeth recently joined Consensus, Inc. after more than eight years at global public relations firm Weber Shandwick, where she directed communications and public affairs initiatives for top-tier clients in the waste management, transportation, aviation, consumer products, energy, legal, manufacturing and real estate industries. Elisabeth managed the BNSF Railway account, guiding strategy, materials development and media relations for the Southern California International Gateway project. She provided counsel to Mattel on a range of issues, including the 2007 toy recalls, MGA/Bratz litigation, corporate responsibility, philanthropy and other matters. She was a member of the team recognized with a Silver SABRE and PRism Award for crisis management in 2008.
Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Elisabeth worked at Myra L. Frank & Associates (now ICF), an environmental consulting firm, where she assisted in the development of environmental impact reports. Previously, Elisabeth worked at Penn, Schoen & Berland (PSB), a market research and political polling firm, where she served as the project manager for the Microsoft account. She directed research and strategy for Microsoft’s image and messaging throughout high-profile antitrust litigation and the launch of Windows XP, Office XP and X-Box.
She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and was honored by the Los Angeles Chapter with the Trevett Award for Young Professional of the Year in 2004. She graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in international politics and from the University of Southern California with a master’s degree in strategic public relations.
