Consensus Inc. Founder and CEO Julie Gertler is Co-Chair of LAEDC Land Use Committee

Consensus Inc. founder and Chief Executive Officer Julie Gertler, a member of the Los Angeles Economic Development Corp.’s Board of Governors, was appointed co-chair of the business organization’s Land Use Committee. 

The committee researches issues and develops strategic initiatives and “best practice” policy recommendations that result in the preservation of job-producing industrial land in Los Angeles County as a way to strengthen the region’s capacity to retain and attract high-value jobs and business from the economic clusters important for economic growth and wealth creation .

In 1986, Julie Gertler predicted today’s intense conflicts about growth and development and founded Consensus Inc. to foster constructive communication among the parties and enable responsible projects to get built. Throughout her career, Julie has pioneered techniques that facilitate support for real estate development, transportation improvements, infrastructure projects and environmental cleanups.
