Jamie brings a diverse background in urban planning and community development to the world of public relations, community outreach and digital organizing. She specializes in utilizing data analytics and strategic communication to advance market-driven innovations that service the public and encourages positive urban change. At Consensus, Jamie assists on numerous campaigns for development and infrastructure projects around Southern California.
Prior to joining Consensus, she managed grassroots field operations for a number of successful political campaigns across Long Beach and the South Bay. She was honored as one of Assemblymember Bonnie Lowenthal’s 30 Women Under 30 for her work as a political activist and community organizer. Jamie served as Special Projects Coordinator to the 4th Council District, at the City of Long Beach, where she actively engaged constituents through community workshops, events, newsletters, social media, traditional media, and more. Jamie brings unique skills by providing creative, data driven solutions to support client’s strategic needs.
Jamie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexualities Studies from California State University, Long Beach. She also holds a Masters of Arts in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego. She was awarded a Quantitative Methods Certificate in recognition of her training in statistical analysis and economics. Jamie is fluent in Spanish.
